About the Event

"The world is made of stories, not of atoms ..." — Muriel Rukeyser

The Wisconsin Storytellers' Get-Together was created in 1987 as a way for storytellers in the state to gather informally, share ideas, get to know each other, swap stories, and find ways to network and support one another. If you are a Wisconsin storyteller — someone who uses storytelling in your work or your life — this is your event! Come to re-energize your story life by sharing ideas, stories, experiences, and resources with other Wisconsin storytellers. (Note: "Cheddar Curtain" crashers are also welcome!)

(If you can't come this year,
please mark your calendars now for next year —
September 26, 2009!)
